W.M. earned the highly respected CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ certification at the age of 30, at that time, making him one of the youngest in the nation. In addition, W.M has earned the AAMS designation (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, CO and a certificate in financial planning from Kaplan University.
A sought after speaker and author on financial topics, W.M. serves as a member of the adjunct faculty at Duquesne University, teaching Kaplan's Investments course for financial professionals seeking certification through the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER BOARD of STANDARDS.
W.M. is a committed supporter of the entrepreneurial community. He has been instrumental in creating opportunities for businesses by serving as Chair of the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project’s Economic Development Committee and a member of the organization’s board.
In addition, W.M. has served as Vice President and Board Member of the Rotary Club of Bethel/St Clair and Chair of the Rotary Gateway Teen Leadership Institute. He received Duquesne University’s Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership and has been honored by Pittsburgh Magazine, receiving its “40 Under 40” Award, honoring him as one of Pittsburgh finest leaders under the age of forty. W.M. resides in Mt. Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, with his wife Amanda, and their daughter, London.
